Max was a nurse (B.Sc.N), a cook, a mother, a baker - (famous for oatmeal cookies), a gardener, a traveler, a reader, a lover of the arts and a true friend of many. She provided care and comfort to all; she remained faithful to Christ, a long time member of Metropolitan United Church and a friend at New St. James - Glengarry Group. She loved a game of bridge and was a competitive curler. She supported many causes including Nursing Education at UWO. She and Alex raised a family and built a business together. Throughout her life, Maxine encountered and rose above adversity with a resilient spirit. She maintained her independence until the very end. She will be greatly missed. A special thanks to the care-givers at McCormick Home and Chelsey Park Retirement who provided comfort in her final times. Cremation has occurred.
