Death Notice

Bastow, Evelyn - Peacefully at University Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, Miss Evelyn M. Bastow of London in her 83rd year. Beloved daughter of the late Dorothy and Albert Bastow. Dear sister of Norman and his wife Marj and the late Laurie. Loving aunt of Susan (Rick Choja) and Geoffrey Bastow (Natalie) and great-nieces Kennedy and Keely Bastow. Evelyn was a retired long-time employee of London Life. She will be remembered by many for her love of skating and dedication to the London Skating Club. Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond. The funeral service will be conducted at St. Luke the Evangelist Anglican Church (Broughdale), 1204 Richmond St. N. on Friday, December 16 at 11:00 am. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged.
