Death Notice
SHANAHAN, Mary Ann - Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, Mary Ann Shanahan, nee Clifford, formerly of Detroit and Goderich, in her 71st year. Loving mother of Ann Marie, Mary Elizabeth “Molly” and Jonathan Daniel Patrick Shanahan. Dear sister of Kay Ann (the late Walter Drolet), and Sally Clifford (Frank) Shanley. She will be lovingly remembered by her circle of dear friends and the extraordinary staff at Victoria Hospital. Teacher, counselor, activist, lover of nature, scholar, passionate about leaving the world a better place. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond on Monday July 9, at 1pm.
