Sharon, Melanie, Kathleen and families: I’m writing this note to say how sorry I am to hear of Nancy’s passing. It was truly a pleasure to assist in her care over the past two years. I’ve heard many stories of her great children, grandchildren and, great grandchildren. Nancy surely was blessed with a great family. Nancy was a lady of great faith as was evidenced by many conversations we shared. She had commented to me once “I’m not sure why God still has me here.” I can honestly say that one of the reasons was to impart some of her faith on others like me. While caring for the residents on Sugar Maple at peopleCare Oakcrossing will never be the same; I take comfort in the fact that Nancy is now in the presence of God. No more itch. No more aches and pains and is hearing sermons from the greatest preacher/teacher of them all. I’m sorry that I’m unable to attend the visitation as I’m on holidays. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care, Mike Nisbet (Part-time PSW, peopleCare Oakcrossing)
