Cathy was our very dear friend and we will miss her very much. Her vibrant spirit was always evident, beyond her illness. We always enjoyed visiting her, especially Daphne and Jemma, she said how they lit up her life. We will each treasure our last visits with Cathy, as each was the embodiment of a person who will live on with us forever.

I am so very sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. We first met in Grade 9 at Central- we spent many years together with Cathy playing piano for my flute solos. In university we lived together for a couple of years in a little apartment on Kent Street before we graduated and headed off in our separate directions. While I have not been in touch for many years, I have thought of her often. May light perpetual shine on her.

I am sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Cathy when she taught at Ryerson P.S. in Toronto over 25 years ago. It wasn't until later that we made the connection between Cathy's siblings (John and Jane) to Cathy as she was known as Ms. Linderoos at school. After Cathy left teaching in Toronto and moved to London, she gave me some of her teaching resource books as her teaching career was winding down and mine was just starting. I remember her generosity and friendly demeanor.

I am greatly saddened by your loss. Mrs. Linderoos was my grade 7 and 8 teacher at Ryerson P.S. in Toronto 25 years ago. She was a truly gifted and marvellous teacher that has left a profound imprint on my life. This news has been a heavy weight to bear. Condolences from La Serena, Chile.

Cathy was my grade 7 and 8 teacher in Toronto. During those years I remember her as someone who was passionate about what she taught and someone who cared deeply for her students. Later in life, she became a friend and I am grateful for her belief in me as a writer and her constant encouragement. She will be very much missed.
