Gardner, Ronald Elliott - Surrounded by his family at University Hospital, on Monday, April 8, 2013, in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Anne Gardner. Dear father of Shelley Plaskett and her husband Brian, and Scott Gardner. Loving grandpa of Matthew and Megan. Cherished son of Anne Anderson. Dear brother of Ken Gardner and his wife Wendy, Charlene McEwan and her husband Doug and Joan Cresswell and her husband Bob. Ron will also be sadly missed by his extended family. Visitation on Thursday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond where the memorial service will be conducted on Friday, April 12 at 11:30 a.m. A Masonic Memorial Service under the auspices of Centennial Lodge #684, A.F & A.M. will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. Memorial contributions to London Health Sciences Foundation (Multi-Organ Transplant Program) or the Canadian Liver Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.

We are so sad to hear about Ron's passing. I have some great memories of visiting you at the cottage in Point Clarke. He was a great person and will be missed greatly.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. Some of my best memories are visiting with Joan @ the apartment on Cheapside back in early 70's when Shelley was a toddler. Such a great guy. Heaven will be a better place now for sure. Hugs
