Elsie Silcox

Death Notice

Silcox, Elsie May (nee Koyl) - On Friday, October 11, 2013 at Mount Hope in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late James H. Silcox (1999). Dear mother of Jim (Jo Ann) Silcox and Tom, (Pat) Silcox. Loving grandmother of Pam, Tim, Chris, Wendy and Aaron, and fond great grandmother of ten little sweethearts. The last surviving member of the seven children of Albert and Ida Koyl of Southwold Township, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families. The family would like to extend special thanks to Drs. Hawthorne and Persaud and to the kind and caring staff of the third floor of Marian Villa at Mount Hope. A memorial service will be conducted at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond on Tuesday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family will be welcomed for the hour preceding the service. Cremation with interment later in McArthur Cemetery. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First-St. Andrew's United Church, London, Ontario.
