We are all "One of a Kinds", but Sally was a more colourful "One of a Kind". Her quickness, laugh, unpretentiousness, zest for life and adventure. Her interest in others.
I asked Tim a few weeks ago if Sally had gone to Anna Laura's wedding. I was disappointed her health would not allow her to. The event seemed perfect for Sally. A family wedding, a different culture, new friends to meet, the journey, the socializing, the adventure.
The Greyhound was Sally's favorite mode of transport. She would gladly pay more to bus then fly. The Greyhound offered a journey, an adventure; Air Canada only offered a ride. What's not to love about that?
As for legacy, Sally leaves so much more then a pile of cash. You, her children and grandchildren are evidence of her amazing successful life. Rarely have I see a family as wonderful as yours, and Sally is the reason why.
We will miss her!
