We knew Clarke from Central, Playgounds and teaching with the London Board. He certainly made his mark in the athletic field and inspired so many young players throughout his career. He was a gifted athlete and a well thought of person and coach. Our condolences to his family.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family as you mourn the loss of your dad and granddad. We are sorry that we were away for the visitation. I am sure it was a lovely celebration of great memories. At least you can feel some kind of comfort to know that Clarke is no longer suffering after a very courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Our thoughts are with you, love Paul, Karen, Taylor and Bradley Johnson

I was very sorry to hear of Clarkes passing and I'm sorry I was unable to attend the memorial at TD Waterhouse. I'm sure being surrounded by so many friends, teammates and others sharing stories of Clarke's impact on their lives and those memories helped make things easier.
I remember Clarke, and the SAMWAYS family with great fondness.
I know that the last years were difficult, as I had a similar experience with my own father whom I admired greatly during his final years. It's the great memories and lessons I received from him that make me smile to this day.
I hope that all of you are well.
