My dear Kathy and family, I am so deeply saddened by the news of Cook's passing. I truly know how heavy your heart must feel. I don't pretend to have all of the answers but I do know that we get through this only by leaning on those dear to us. Don't be afraid to do so. Treasure your memories of Cook and a life well lived. She was the wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend everyone should aspire to be.

Cookie lived down the street on Inverness in Oakridge Acres when we were young. Her family's cottage was down the road in Port Stanley, not far from my grandparent's. I haven't seen her in awhile, but remember her with a smile. So very sorry to hear about her passing. Take care of each other.
