Wilma, Garth was a model of professionalism. His interests were wide and eclectic and he readily shared them with others with enthusiasm. There was a gentleness in his demeanor that often belied his rigor of mind.We will miss that small smile and quiet word we knew. Our thoughts are of him and with you. John & Gayle Smallbridge

It is a measure of Garth's influence that someone like myself with very limited real contact with Garth as a Latin teacher immediately is saddened by news of his passing . Yet I am proud and delighted to say I knew this gentle giant.
