Service

The funeral service will be conducted at First Baptist Church, 20 Centre Street West, Strathroy on Wednesday, March 4 at 2 pm, with visitation preceding at the church from 1-2 pm.

Death Notice

ELLIOTT, Pearl - Peacefully with family by her side at Country Terrace on Sunday, February 22, 2015, Eva Pearl Elliott, nee Pedden of Strathroy in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Elliott (1994). Loving mother of Diane Elliott Quartel (the late Will Quartel) of London and Robert Elliott (Susan) of Lasalle. Dear grandmother of Sarah Quartel (Eric Pout) of Gananoque, Jessica Quartel of Vancouver, Lauren (Stefano Shaheen) and Justin Elliott (Paige Craig) all of Windsor. Sister of the late Margaret Jowett (Walter) and Archie Pedden. Sister-in-law of the late Margaret Bailey (Harold). Survived by sister-in-law Dorothy Pedden. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Pearl created and ran the Telephone Answering Service of Strathroy, a highly acclaimed communications business which served Strathroy and surrounding area for over twenty-five years. Pearl and her husband Bob also founded and ran the R.W. Elliott Funeral Home and Strathroy Insta-Copy Service until their retirement in 1992. She was devoted to her Church and serving God throughout her life. Visitation on Tuesday, March 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, London.
