I am so sad to hear that the world has lost such a sweet guy. I knew Dave well when we were young kids - a friend of my older brother, Dave was often at our house, and was sensitive, friendly and always smiling, and always nice to the kid sister. Into high school Dave continued to be part of my social circle, and he was consistently that same great guy I had always known. I haven't seen Dave for many years but I still remember him well. My condolences to the Lierman family, and to all of the friends who will miss him.

Sympathetic wishes to your family.

Somewhere around 1990 our lives intersected at Fanshawe College. I am glad that happened.
For a period we were very good friends. I remember going with Dave on a 2 day ski vacation to Talisman. Great times! Lots of laughs. I have thought about him many times over the years and will continue to do so. Today I am also thinking about the family.
A Wonderful unique spirit that will be missed.

My sincere condolences to the Lierman family and all of his friends. I have many fond memories of Dave from elementary school, where he always had the class in stitches. We had a brief reunion in Whistler, which was nice, and as always it was full of laughter. He was so kind and thoughtful. He will be missed.

Memories of the Lierman family for me date back to the 1950's.
Mary and the children moved to a country setting and shortly thereafter, Peter turned up with the stunning Lizette, thereby crushing the hopes of all the local girls.
I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Peter and Lizette and family, Mary, Dianne and Joe and Dave's family.
From what I have read as written by those who knew Dave, this is truly a tremendous loss to family and friends.
I hope you find strength and peace in knowing that old friends care.

My sincere condolences to the entire Lierman family on this very sad news. Dave was a kind, warm, funny guy who will be greatly missed. We shared many good times and laughs, but Dave was also someone who could empathize with your own trials and losses, who had a kind word and a good wish for you. His fire burnt briefly but brightly.
