Death Notice

BRUNNER, Annemarie Margarete (Kuhlen) - passed away peacefully with her family at her side at St. Joseph's Hospice in London, Ontario on March 13, 2015 after a very short and courageous battle with cancer. She was 69 years old. Annemarie was the beloved wife of Martin Brunner for 50 years, loving mother to Markus (Ann Marie) and Annette (Karlo). Annemarie was a loving grandmother to Lukas, Maximilian, Cole and Magnus. She was the oldest daughter of the late Walter and Johanna Kuhlen, sister Brigitte Seybold (Achim) and Klaus Kuhlen (Margareta) who reside in Germany. Annemarie will be fondly remembered by all of her family and many friends. Annemarie was born in Germany, immigrated to Canada in 1967 and became a proud Canadian citizen who traveled this country from coast to coast and always expressed a fierce love and admiration for her adopted country. Annemarie was an extraordinary amazing woman who lived life to the fullest. Some of her passions in her 69 years of life were cooking, baking, gardening, reading, mountain climbing, cross country skiing, hiking, canoeing, nature, wildlife, portages, camping, church, choir, and most of all spending time with family and her many friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Hickey her family Doctor, the Doctor's at the London Cancer Clinic, Dr. Dostaler and staff at Bluewater Health - Palliative Care Sarnia as well as Shirley Nieman and staff at St. Joseph's Hospice London for their kindness and compassion. Cremation has taken place.
