I was saddened when I read of Maynard's death. He was a highly respected and admired member of our profession. His contributions to the clinical instruction of our students at Western were of the highest order and were most appreciated by all who were privileged to receive them.
Please permit me to convey to you and to all members of your families my most profound and heartfelt sympathy.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Maynard's passing. He was a great Dentist and friend of our family. Maynard was especially good to my father Don during his battle with cancer. For this we will always be grateful. Maybe Don and Maynard can throw a few rocks together again.
