Death Notice

DICKOUT, Glennie Helen - January 6, 1928 - July 20, 2015 - After a life well lived, Glennie passed away peacefully at her home on July 20, 2015. Predeceased by her husband Leslie (1961). Dear mother of David, Marnie, Sue (Bruce Monahan), Bruce (Louanne Foster), Jane Sharpe (Mike Daley). Loving grandmother of Daniel, Cate, Kristen, Andrew, Natalie and Jason and great-grandmother of Mazie. Glennie was a longtime resident of Simcoe; employee of the Norfolk County Children’s Aid Society; member of St. James United Church and The Trillium Button Club and lifelong summer resident of Southampton. Visitation on Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, where a memorial service will be conducted on Friday, July 24 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation preceding the service from 10 - 11 a.m. Family interment at Harris Street Cemetery, Ingersoll. Donations to Doctors Without Borders or the Canadian Liver Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
