Death Notice

TWOHEY, M. Allison - Suddenly of Cancer at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, August 20th, 2015, in her 50th year. Loving daughter of Maureen P. Burke; sister of J. Mark Twohey and his wife Lynn, and Leslie E. Burke; aunt of Kathleen and Grace Twohey and James Burke. Niece of Winifred Burke of London and Anna Burke in England. Allison will be fondly remembered by her cousins, and many dear friends, including Bill, Deanna, and Pat. Allison was a proud employee of McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada. Special thanks to everyone in the McHappy family, Dr. B.H. Dingle, the London Regional Cancer Program, and the staff of London Health Sciences Centre.

Allison loved life, her family, and friends. She was proud of her career, and thoroughly enjoyed her travels to 56 countries. She was truly loved by many.

Visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Michael’s Catholic Church, 515 Cheapside St. at Maitland on Monday, August 24 at 11 am.

Cremation followed by interment later at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the London Ronald McDonald House or the London Regional Cancer Program (Research) would be gratefully acknowledged.
