"As I sat on the shore, at my camp on Harvey Lake,N.B.,last night,my thoughts were SO of Gloria! It seemed that Nature was tuned into my feelings.Tranquility abounded-except for the sounds of the loons. The lake was peacefully calm and the sunset indeed Glorious!!A perfect tribute to my dear cousin!!"

Elgin and friends, family of Gloria,
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. The time that I was able to spend with Gloria in Ilderton showed me what a generous, caring and compassionate woman she was. She was always ready to share a story about those we knew in the community, and I will remember what a fire-cracker she could be!
Best wishes from the bottom of my heart,
September 16, 2015, 12:19 pm
her smiling face
this woman I knew,
a woman of grace
and kindness too,
now dearly felt,
for that time for
tea, now lost to me,
I’ll miss her voiced
support of me, this
woman who was
called friend to me,
so glad we had that
moment just weeks ago,
for little did I know, it
was her time to go…
rest easy my friend…. maureen

Our hearts ache along with you as you grieve Gloria's passing. Many fond memories of the ceramics she made and shared with many, the pranks she permitted and was a bit of an accomplice to at times ;) (when we were rigging Sue/Earl's vehicle up for pre-wedding prank) and her very welcoming heart/arms.
Grief comes in 'waves' but we can be thankful we knew and loved someone so deep and well that we have the privilege of missing them so greatly. We will be praying for you/your families in the days/weeks to come.
