Denyse and I became friends through our boys. We share the loved of family, friends, football and photography. Her smile was a bright as they come and her laugh was infectious. I will definitely miss seeing (and hearing) her at games. She was an AMAZING Mom and her love for them radiated from her when she spoke of them all; as she radiated when she spoke of Dave and their love story!!! I will miss you my friend!!

Dave and family,
It was with profound sadness that I am writing this condolence. I knew and worked with Denyse at Genesus. Her captivating personality was something I will always remember about Denyse. I was always impressed with the manner in which Denyse performed her duties, her willingness to assist as required and her professional approach to her work. In my discussions with Denyse it was also very clear of her love and dedication for her family. I am sure she made an impression on everyone she met. She will be missed by all who knew her. My thoughts are with all of you.

My heart aches for the loss of my dear, beautiful friend, Denyse.
My mind is filled with so many wonderful memories of our time together, which now seems all too short. My life is rich because of the many hours over the coffee pots sharing everything and nothing, our dinners, our scrapbooking work, all the adventures (ziplining, horseback rides, road trips, speedboats, sightseeing…) that we've shared. Fun loving, bright, beautiful Denyse. I can never forget someone who gave me so much to remember.
My head hears her voice – confident, passionate…telling me that “No one ever said life is fair. Your job is to be the best person you can be. Just do the best you can with what you have.” Wise, direct, generous, thoughtful Denyse. How I miss you!
Her love for Dave and their three amazing kids was the ultimate joy in her life. She constantly spoke openly and lovingly about her whole family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Samlal/McIntosh families. She left you so many beautiful memories! Let her love for you be your guide through the difficult days ahead.
Mark and Hannahbelle share my grief…our loss of a wonderful light in our lives, gone all too soon. We were truly blessed to have known her. Forever in our hearts.

I was blessed to work with Denyse, so close, week by week over the last few years just a few inches apart from my desk. I found her from the dozens of applicants we got from the ad we published on-line. She was an avid and fast learner person, but most importantly an excellent and passionate coach. I certainly learned a lot from her. I share her vibrant laughs, her tears and emotions, her extremely responsibility for making things well and on time and her organization skills. She was simply brilliant. But definitely the best memories I will have from her will be her human condition. I was lucky to have shared many moments with her, through many conversations both work related and about her family and life; all what I have learned from her is the essence of life. She was a multitasking mother that always put her family on the top of her priorities. Her personality allowed her to take control of everything. I helped her several times by giving her a hand, but just because I asked her to let me help her, she accepted but she didn’t feel like it was OK, I simply told her that it was fine, If I had a little time I was happy to help her with something, and just when she hear that from me she felt more comfortable. She was extremely honest and loyal; her beautiful spirit will live on through us and her husband and children, and they will always know how much she loved them. She tried with all her heart to stay for them every day, but she had to go.
Now my hope is that she rest in peace knowing she did all that she could and that her children will be fine.
When we love people it’s so comforting to know that they will always be with us in our hearts.
I’ll see you again, my friend.

I write this with a very heavy heart. Denyse McIntosh who was my assistant and also looked after all Genesus Commentaries has passed away from a brain aneurysm a couple days ago.
Denyse personified energy, vitality, commitment and intelligence.
My heart goes out to husband David and her three children Dalton, Darla and Daphne. She cared and loved them with all her being.
We will miss her. I will miss her.

Dear McIntosh family,
We pray for Denyse's soul and patience and strength for your loss.
"O Lord, O Thou Whose mercy hath encompassed all, Whose forgiveness is transcendent, Whose bounty is sublime, Whose pardon and generosity are all-embracing, and the lights of Whose forgiveness are diffused throughout the world! O Lord of Glory! I entreat Thee, fervently and tearfully, to cast upon Thy handmaiden who hath ascended unto Thee the glances of the eye of Thy mercy. Robe her in the mantle of Thy grace, bright with the ornaments of the celestial Paradise, and, sheltering her beneath the tree of Thy oneness, illumine her face with the lights of Thy mercy and compassion.
Bestow upon Thy heavenly handmaiden, O God, the holy fragrances born of the spirit of Thy forgiveness. Cause her to dwell in a blissful abode, heal her griefs with the balm of Thy reunion, and, in accordance with Thy will, grant her admission to Thy holy Paradise. Let the angels of Thy loving-kindness descend successively upon her, and shelter her beneath Thy blessed Tree. Thou art, verily, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Generous, the All-Bountiful."
