It is with sadness that I read of the passing of a dear friend and Pastor, Doug Story. I, as Music Director, and he, as Pastor, worked together for many years and I much admired and appreciated his candor, his honesty and his way of zeroing in on and dealing with problems. We were a mutual admiration society all on our own, and each of us was in agreement in our assessment of troublesome situations which arose. I shall always remember Doug and am grateful that God brought our paths together for a little while. My love and sympathy to Isobelle and his family at this difficult time. You are in my prayers.

Is this the same Rev Story who was a minister at Metropolitan United Church?

Dear Isobel and Family.
Audrey and I are saddened by the recent passing of Doug. He was a very important part of our immigration to Canada. His humour and directness made the first winter not seem as cold as it was with his sit up and listen to me sermons. We miss the feeling that Doug was speaking directly to us.
May he rest in peace in the house of the Lord for ever.
We also hope you are well Isobel. We look forward to meeting you in the near future
