Watson, Mandy Marianthi - It is with deep sadness that we announce Mandy's passing at age 69 on August 20, 2016. With her family around her, Mandy passed away after a valiant battle with cancer.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, John Watson, of London. Cherished sister of Irini Bentzien (Uwe) of Munich, Germany; Ioanna Tsakiris (Sakis) of Thessaloniki, Greece and Henrietta Lamirand (Clovis) of London. Loving step-mother of Cheryl Quenneville (Dwayne) of Belleville and Gina Watson (Kevin Phillips) of Ottawa. Dear grandmother of Owen and Joel Quenneville and Sarah and John Phillips. Mandy will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews Anja Bentzien, John Derek Lamirand, Stephanos Tsakiris, Eleni Tsakiris (Dimitreis Atsalas), and great nephew Michael Atsalas.

After coming to Canada 42 years ago from Greece, via Germany, Mandy worked diligently promoting excellence in customer service at the Bank of Montreal for 30 years. At home, she was happiest cooking fabulous meals for and entertaining the people she loved. She also had a deep love of music and was learning to play the oboe. Mandy was a very giving person and her love, creativity and wit will live on in our hearts.

The family wishes to thank the staff of CCAC and Parkwood Hospital who made Mandy's final days comfortable. In keeping with Mandy's wishes there will be no funeral. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Don Wright Faculty of Music Opera Program or the New Horizons Band at Western University.
