WILTSHIRE, Ken - Peacefully in his 84th year at University Hospital on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, Kennis Gow “Ken" Wiltshire of London, formerly of Oakville. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Wiltshire, nee Walter (2012). Loving father of Christine Ingram (Brian), Karen Evershed, and Janet Hisey (Don). Proud Grandpa of Robyn, Hilary, Mark, Sandi, Lesley, Michael, Elizabeth and Julia, and great-grandfather of Jett. Twin brother of Reg Wiltshire (Donna). Ken always sought to positively impact those around him. God gifted him with the most infectious smile and laugh and an ability to make friends anywhere he went. He was a listener and encourager. He could talk to and relate to anyone no matter what age. He was a man of deep faith in his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. His faith was the cornerstone of who he was, his life and hope in the Lord was evident to those who knew him. A memorial service will be conducted at Westview Baptist Church, 1000 Wonderland Rd. S., on Saturday, December 17 at 11 a.m. A private committal at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery has already taken place. Philippians 1:21 - For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

If Cliff were alive, he too, would join me in sending deep condolences on the passing of Ken Wiltshire. As the father of our neighbour Janet Hisey and her family, he was always a friendly person when we encountered him. I know that Janet and her sisters were spending as much time with their father in the last days. My heart goes out to all the them, their children, and other relatives. I wish that I were there to provide support in person. You are all in my thoughts. Love from Alberta

I was sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I knew him from Elmwood Lawn Bowls and as Treasurer, I have arranged to make a donation in Ken's name to our Memorial fund.

it is with great sadness that we heard that Ken had passed away. He was such a joy when he curled with us in the interfaith curling group. He was always someone who was interested in visiting and discovering all he could about everyone's lives. Ken will be missed. Our best wishes go out to all of Ken's relatives and family. Blessings.

Hi Christine and family. I don't believe my first email went through....so I'll try again in case you didn't receive it.
I don't know if you remember me from Orr or Blakelock. I'm starting to see way too many of these from people we know in our grades (my dad was a few years back). My thoughts are with you.... I'm sure your dad was a great man (terrific pic, at least!), and I hope you get some comfort from those around you and their support.
Reading the notice, I noticed the connections in your family. I played hockey and had church connections with both Brian (his younger brother)and Don Hisey (and his younger brother again), as well as Mark Evershed was a good friend of my brother's, I believe. Small world!
Sincere best wishes to you Christine. If you'd like to write, feel free.
