I was saddened to see Mr. Maltby's name in the obituaries today. It has been a very long time since I was at Westminster where I was one of his biology students. His sense of humour was truly admirable and I always loved his class more than any other because of it. He left us with many valuable life lessons and many laughs to go along with the lessons. My sympathy to you in your loss, he will leave a very large vacancy in all of your lives.

Dear Mrs. Maltby and family,
As a former student of Westminster, I was privileged to have been taught by Mr. Maltby. Not only a good teacher, he was a very nice man who remembered his students long after the bell had rung.
My deepest condolences to all of you.

To Cathy and family, I send sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Murray was a Poultry Science classmate at the OAC. He had the respect of all his classmates as a super student and athlete. We marveled at his perseverance with a strict diet, including turkey meat. Maybe the poultry nutrition coarse had merit. We will remember him fondly. Best wishes.
