Death Notice
MILNE, Scott (November 9, 1974 - February 1, 2020) - It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved, Robert Scott Milne, unexpectedly of a stroke at his home, the weekend of February 1st. He is predeceased by his father Dr. J. Ken Milne and leaves behind his mother Signy Milne, sister Kelly Milne (Mataya, Rhiannon & Aiden), brother Ken Milne & Barb Lubell (Ethan, Sage & Zoe), sister Kim & John Peter (Jadyn & Jaxon) and brother John & Julianne Milne (Ryelin, Bennett & Jessica), as well as his cousins, aunts and uncles, his girlfriend Lucy Gonzalez and her son, and his many, many friends.
Scott was a gentle giant with a huge heart. He devoted his life to fitness and helping others. He was well respected in the body building industry where he achieved great success and notoriety. He was affectionately known as Scottie, Big Scott, Tsunami and “The Moose” from his time on the TV show Battledome. Like his Dad, he loved fast cars and big trucks. He loved animals and referred to his mastiff Tyson and his cats Pippa and Husky as his 'kids'. He was a strong advocate for mental health and courageously shared his own personal struggles.
Family will receive friends at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St James Street at Richmond, next Saturday, February 15 from 2-4 pm, with remembrances at 4 pm. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Humane Society would be appreciated.

Signy, to you and your families we are so very sorry for your loss. All the more so after the passing of Scotts Dad. We remember with fondness the skinny blond kid running around the farm on his dirt bike only to become a kind, determined gentle giant. We trust in memories he will always be your Scottie. Sincere and heartfelt condolences.
