Death Notice
UKSIK, Samantha (née Richey) - Peacefully at home on Friday, January 8, 2021, Samantha Margaret Heather Uksik of London age 42.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Trevor, son Erik, father Geoffrey Richey, sister Louise, brother Charles and sister-in-law Laura. Dear aunt of Sophie, Julian, Max and Sebastian. Also missed by mother-in-law Heather Uksik, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by her mother Fiona (2014).
Sammie had a love of children and was a proud and devoted mother to Erik. She also touched the lives of many other children and families throughout her career as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, notably with the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario (most recently at the St. Theresa location).
Private cremation arrangements. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to YMCA ‘Strong Kids’ (https://www.ymcaswo.ca/donate-now) or Wellspring (https://wellspring.ca/london-region/) would be appreciated.
