Greg was one of the kindest and yet fiercest people I have ever had the privilege to know. He was a loved member of our group of friends and his loss has sent shock waves of grief, sadness, and loss. I had so hoped that he would make a full recovery and it is heartbreaking that we will not see his smiling face again. I will always miss his animated personality, his love of nature and animals, and his strong example of how to live your best life. I am a better person for having the privilege and pleasure of knowing Greg. My condolences to the Barnett Family. He was so lucky to have a steadfastly supportive family. Rest easy, my friend.

Will, Fran and Patrick. It has been over 30 years but we still have a very clear picture of Greg. Words of themselves have no meaning- deeds do. Greg gave his life much meaning with the deeds he accomplished. We know you are proud but immensely sad. Sincerely, Rob and Lynne

Dear Fran, Will, and Paco, It’s been a very long time, but I still have such clear memories of Greg, and of the three of you. I want to tell you that Greg had such a positive impact on my teenage years. I was totally thrown when I learned of his passing. I’m so sorry he had to leave you. I will always remember Greg as a born optimist, a uniquely welcoming person, and a good and fair sport. We talked and laughed a lot over the chess board. He mostly beat me at pool. Always graciously. I have only fond memories of him. Thinking of you all, remembering Greg. Rest in peace, Giggs. Luke
