I worked with Marian at Wheable. She was such a lovely woman with a smile that would light up a room. Students and staff thought the world of her. RIP, Marian

I worked closely with David and Katie during my time as a funeral director in London and knew Jennifer from being involved with Delta Upsilon many years ago. Please accept our condolences on the passing of your mom and grandmother. If she was anything like I know you three to be, she was an incredible person and I am sure she will be dearly missed.

Marian had such a warm heart, a strong spirit and a gusto for life. Her energy was contagious - I knew Marion as a child and adolescent at Metropolitan - my mom, Betty Thomson worked alongside Marian there. As an adult, it was a blessing and a gift to be warmly welcomed back by your mom. She had a knack for reaching out to (and mobilizing!) people of all ages. Marian leaves a beautiful legacy.

I was saddened to learn today of death of Marian. She was such a gracious, kind and positive woman. My husband Al and I always gravitated toward Marian and Bill at Bieman gatherings, as they were among our favourite relatives. Marian had the rare ability to make you feel like the most important and interesting person in the room when she spoke with you. She truly cared about others. I know my parents, Graeme and Elizabeth Bieman were also extremely fond of Bill and Marion.
It is never easy to say goodbye to those we love, but I am sure you all feel blessed to have had Marian in your lives.
You are in our thoughts.

Marian Bieman was a life-long friend of Rotary. Her father was one of the few Rotary International Directors produced from this regional District. Gordon Beaton was from Markdale, so Marion grew up in a Rotary family. She travelled widely with her dad on Rotary business and continued her Rotary journey with her husband Governor Bill Bieman (Rotary Club of London East). Marion always had a happy face and engaging memorable laugh. She was a generous a most gracious woman who also lived the Rotary motto: Service Above Self.

When I think of Marian, I think of a totally classy lady. Although we were together only during system-wide subject council meetings, I found Marian such a delight. Her respect for all and her sweet sense of humour brings a smile to my face even now. You are fondly remembered, Marian.

Dear Peter, David and family,
Thank you for a fitting calibration of life for Marian. Growing up, Kristin and I remember Marian and Bill coming in and our of lives. Marian was a super role model for young girls because she brought warmth, grace, strength and generosity with her. And all those qualities touched us again throughout our lives. Such a special person. Marjorie Bieman Scorgie also sends condolences to you all. Our sympathy,
