Leopold Stoetzer

Death Notice

STOETZER, Leo - Peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Victoria Hospital, London in his 80th year. Leopold Theodor Stoetzer was born on March 7, 1930 in Stuttgart, Germany. Leo was the loving husband of Berta Stoetzer for 50 years. He was the loving father of Ryner and his wife Mary, Oliver and his wife Alcina and proud Opa of Olivia and Laryssa. Leo is fondly remembered by his brothers Siegfried of Altbach, Germany and Immanuel (Christa) of Fellbach, Germany, as well as his sister-in-law Rose Stegner of London, Canada and brother-in-law Karl-Heinz Kilian (Gudrun) of Andenach, Germany. Family and friends are invited to the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, in London for visitation on Tuesday, March 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesdsay, April 1st at 1:00 p.m. by Dr. Jay Koyle. Interment at a later date in Woodland Cemetery, London. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Louise Moist, the staff of the London Regional Satellite Dialysis Unit and the doctors and staff of the 5th floor Nephrology Unit at Victoria Hospital, London.
