Meadows, Joyce M. - Peacefully at Marian Villa on Friday, May 8, 2009, Joyce Margaret Meadows, nee Guild, of London in her 69th year. Much loved and loving wife and best friend of Frank Meadows. Adored mother of John (Janice) of Toronto, Ainslie (Steve) of Beeton, David of Toronto and Jim (Mary) of St. Thomas. Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Nicholas, Julia, Laura, Katie, Connor, and Sarah. Dear daughter of the late Bob and Florence Guild of Nova Scotia. Sister of Helen Heather (Rodney) of Beaconsfield, Quebec, Jim (Jane) of Halifax, Keith (Heather) of Ottawa and the late Barbara Rumscheidt. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joyce was a skilled research librarian with university degrees in History and Information and Library Science from the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto. Joyce loved music and at times could be found in alto sections of the church choir at Knox Church, Saskatoon, Parkminster United Church, Waterloo, Fairlawn United Church, Toronto and First-St. Andrews United Church, London. Joyce's life was all too short, but she made the most of the time that was hers, and good use of the gifts God gave her.
