Harris, Margaret Eleanor (Bowlby) Margaret passed away peacefully on February 14, 2010 at Inspirit Residences, London Ontario. Margaret was born and grew up in Hamilton Ontario, the devoted daughter of Reid and Elsie Bowlby. She spent her life caring for others. She was a constant source of love and support to her soul mate, Stanley whom she met in her late teens, fell instantly in love and married six months later. Their first dear daughter, Wendy was a bright light in a time of darkness during the Second World War in the country. Margaret loved being a mother. At the age of 25, eight months pregnant with their second child, she was diagnosed with polio. Happily Cathy was safely born and Margaret focused on learning to walk again all that next year. In 1959 with great joy David, their son, was born and their family was complete. For Margaret's entire life she was an inspiration to others. God gave her the amazing gift of being able to celebrate all life with joyful humor, dignity, grace and faith. We shall ever cherish her intimate legacy of love. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Daurrell Harris. Dearest mother of; Wendy Gordon Owens (late Collier), Margaret Catherine Chapin (Ross) and David Reid Harris (Yvonne). Loving grandmother of Catherine Sperry Bilyea (Jeff), Dwight Reid Chapin (Stephanie) and Robert William Chapin, Jeremy Harris, Sam Onisko, Max Onisko and the late Cameron Harris. Great Grandmother of Liam, Ethan and Aidan Chapin and Sophie, Jackson and Andrew Bilyea. Devoted sister of Judith Anne Bowlby, Gordon Washington Reid Bowlby (Helen) and the late John Douglas Bowlby.
