Death Notice

Dale, Marion - peacefully at University Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2010, Marion Leona Dale, nee Manninger, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Byron (1973). Loving mother of Judy (Jack Owens) of Mississauga and Michael (Cathy) of London. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth (Brian Jay), Darren (Sandra) Owens, Simon (Jennifer) Dale, Lauren and Allison, and G.G. of Johnathan and Alexander Jay. Dear sister of Frank (Marny), Joe (the late June), Art (the late Mary-Ann), the late Ted (Rita), the late Mike (the late Barb), the late George (Mary) Manninger and the late Betty (the late Frank) Grant. Marion will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted member and elder of Metropolitan United Church for many years. Her other great passion was volunteering at St. Joseph's Hospital. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond. The funeral service will be conducted at Metropolitan United Church, 468 Wellington Street at Dufferin on Monday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Robert C. Ripley officiating. Private family interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
