Nancy Sea

Death Notice

Sea, Nancy - Sadly, our family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of our wife, mother, and grandmother, Nancy Sea, on Sunday, May 9th, 2010 at home, at the age of 72 years. Cherished wife of Tom, loving mother of Tory Metzger, Patrick Metzger and Christina Patzwald, Amy Metzger and Duncan Grace, and Christopher Metzger. Devoted and extraordinary "grandma" to Zachary, Jeremy, Kylie and Nathalie Grace. Nancy was raised in New Jersey and was proud of her American roots and her adopted home country of Canada. She is predeceased by her parents Henry and Lillian Fallon and survived by her brother Hugh Fallon, sister-in-law, Joan, her mother-in-law, Kathryn Sea, and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Nancy was an adventurous spirit who loved books, travel, and teaching. Her sense of humour and her deep and abiding faith gave her an unwavering optimism that remains a source of support and comfort for her family. She will be fondly remembered by the many students and colleagues whose lives she touched during her many years as an English teacher with the London District Catholic School Board. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Friends may call on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Michael's Catholic Church, 511 Cheapside Street at Maitland, on Thursday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Thames Valley Children's Centre or Covenant House would be greatly appreciated by the family. "Follow the light mom!"
