Death Notice

Martin, Jill Annette Louise - On a lovely blue sky summer day, June 24, 2010, Jill peacefully passed away in her 47th year. Re-united in Heaven with her dear father Fred L. Martin, and her loving big brother Bryan. Beloved daughter of Mary C. Martin, and wonderful sister to Heather L. Greenfield and brother-in-law Richard. Niece of Tom and Sherry Darby of Edmonton, and Bill and Peg Martin of Chatham. Special friend to Jenny and Darryl Henry, and to her many compassionate caregivers. After many years of living valiantly with Scleroderma, Jill has passed away. Jill made the most of every day, enjoying letter writing, gardening, decorating for the holidays, and bringing joy to everyone around her. The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, June 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond. The memorial service will be conducted at Wesley-Knox United Church, 91 Askin Street in London on Wednesday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Tom Hiscock. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Scleroderma Society of Ontario, 393 University Ave., Suite 1700, Toronto, ON M5G 1E6 or the Wesley-Knox United Church Transportation Fund would be gratefully acknowledged.
