Connor, Dorothy - peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Saturday, August 28, 2010, Dorothy Jessie Connor, nee Rackham of London in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Allen "Alec" Connor. Loving mother of Robert John and his wife Lynn and Jeffrey Alan and his wife Laura. Dear grandmother of Adam, Ashley, Jessica, Aimee, Tara, Christopher and Jaime. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Irene Connor, and by Sandra Hamill and Shann Connor. Daughter of the late Harry and Constance Rackham and daughter-in-law of the late Harry and Dora Connor. Dorothy was an active member of the Church of St. John the Evangelist and a long-time member of the I.O.D.E. She was a former employee of Bell Canada in St. Thomas. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond. The funeral service will be conducted at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, 280 St. James St. at Wellington, on Wednesday, September 1 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation and interment at Woodland Cemetery.
