Jeanette Kirk Farquhar, daughter of the late Elsie Kirk McCulloch and James McCulloch, passed away on November 4, 2010. She was 86 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Farquhar. Jeanette was the loving mother of Margaret Garber (Nathan), Donald Farquhar (Donata), Kirk Farquhar (Beverley), and Robin Clark (the late John Clark). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Leslie (David), Emily (Geoff), Jonathan (Mel), Scott, Jamie, Christopher and Natalie. She will be missed by her greatgranddaughter Lyla. Jeanette is the eldest of 6 children. She is survived by her devoted sister Jean Stipchich of Marion Villa. She was a caring sister to the late Raymond (Mable)and Jim McCulloch, Elsie Walters (Lou) and Shirley Waddell (Al). She will also be remembered by her neices, nephews and friends. Jeanette worked as medical secretary in Brantford and Belleville and was president of the medical secretaries associations. She enjoyed being a volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital, London where she assisted patients to the operating room. The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors at the Parkwood Palliative Care Unit and the kind nurses who visited her at home. A very special thanks to Dr. John Sangster and nurse Toula Gerace for their dedicated care. Also thanks to her wonderful friends at the Byron Family Medical Centre. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday November 7th from 6 to 8 pm at the James Harris Funeral Home, 220 St James Street at Richmond, London. The funeral service will be on Monday, November 8th at 11 am at the James Harris Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Oakland of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on Oxford Street, London. Memorial contributions can be made to the Volunteer Services through the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation.
