McColman, Lucy "May"- peacefully surrounded by her family at University Hospital on Sunday, January 2, 2011 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Jim McColman, the late Phillip Bollis, and the late Duke Duchesne. Dear mother of Beverly Grigg (Ted), Wendy Borland (the late Bob), Rob Anderson, Debbi Anderson (Michael Miller) and stepmother of Ruth King (Ted) and Doug McColman. Loving grandmother of Terry Grigg (Carol), Todd Grigg (Michele), Trudy Grigg (Doug Dekker), Cynthia Palmer, Jillian Hodgson (Geoff), Michael Borland (Ashley), Cailin O'Rourke, Charis Stylianos and stepgrandmother of James Fournie (Julia) and Chelsey Fournie (David), 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Marge Scarborough (the late Bob) and Ted Gatenby (Marley). Predeceased by her first husband William Anderson, brothers Jack, Bill and Syd Gatenby and her sister Florence Van Valkenburg. May will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and her dear friends. A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses of University Hospital who provided such compassionate care to May. A memorial service will be conducted at St. George's Presbyterian Church, 1475 Dundas Street East, on Saturday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. by Reverend Keith McKee. Cremation with interment St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date.
