Catharine Ridley

Death Notice

Ridley, J. Catharine - Peacefully on January 5, 2011. Janet Catharine Ridley, daughter of the late Jesse and Gretta Ridley of Stratford. Predeceased by two sisters Martha (Ridley) Parker, Margaret (Ridley) Grant and nephew Kenneth Parker, she is survived by her beloved nieces and nephew, Lynda (Parker) Mackay and her husband Reay, Judith (Johnston) Parker, Russell Parker, Lorraine Grant and special cousin James Sutherland and his wife Lana. Catharine had a long career at the University of Western Ontario, her final thirty years as Registrar of Huron University College. She was made an Honorary Fellow and an Honorary Member of the Corporation of Huron University College. The Funeral Service will be conducted at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 280 St. James Street on Monday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m.
