Friends may call on Friday, March 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond, London.

Service

A graveside service will be conducted at Oakland Anglican Cemetery, 1524 Highway 2, Brockville on Wednesday, May 11 at 10 a.m. Please use the east entrance and meet at the cemetery office.

Death Notice

PURDY, Rosemary Florence - Suddenly at University Hospital, London on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in her 70th year. Loving mother of Sean Purdy of London. Beloved sister of George Howison of Brockville. Fondly remembered by her cousins, John Howison and his wife Anne, Judy Johnston and her husband Richard and their families and by many dear friends and acquaintances. Rosemary was an elementary school teacher for many years in Newmarket and London. She was a member of Oxwell, Horton Street Seniors, and the Red Hat Society. Rosemary enjoyed traveling and her involvement with the Church of St. John the Evangelist. Friends may call on Friday, March 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. A memorial service will be conducted at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, 280 St. James Street at Wellington, London on Saturday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment in Brockville. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged.
