BLACK After an unexpected illness on March 13, 2011 in Sarasota Florida, Dr. Nigel William Adam Black, DDS of London Ontario peacefully died in his 44th year. Devoted husband of Sharon nee Meertens "Squeaky", loving father of Jacqueline Anita "Boomer", Katherine Elaine "Cup of Coffee" and William Samuel "Kenny". Cherished son of John and the late Jacqueline and son-in-law of the late Anita Meertens. The loyal brother of Nicola "Chickadee" (Darren) Scott, Deborah "Sportsy" (David) Usprich, Wendy "Tiny" (Dean) Loupos. Animated brother-in-law of Ron and Patty Meertens, Peter and Elaine Cox. FAVOURITE uncle of Jocelyn, Bryce, Gemma, Sophie, Olivia, Henry, Andrew, Charlotte, Nicholas and Johnny. Ireland was the place of Nigey's birth, a baby boy only 6 weeks old Off to Canada he and his family went for a new life to unfold Chickadee, Nigey, Sportsy and Tiny all grew up at the Corley Hotel We've enjoyed the brilliant stories Nigey loved to tell, Dentistry in Cleveland was the start of Nigey's adult life Then somehow he coerced Squeaky to be his tolerant wife Nigey's life was blessed with miracles a many The best being Boomer, Cup of Coffee and Kenny He lived so much in just 43 years He wouldn't want us to have any tears Politics, golf, parties with fireworks and the occasional wig To the world's enjoyment Nigey lived his life big Integrity, generosity, traditional values that never bend For those privileged to have met Nigey, they became a lifelong friend Your legendary life will be toasted with a pint or two Daddy"¦Uncle Nino"¦.Nigey"¦.we all love you There are so many words to describe this great man It's fitting that a simple quote from his father can: "NIGEL's NOT A PERSON, HE's AN EXPERIENCE" Visitation on Sunday from 2-4 pm at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday March 21st 2011 at 1100 am in Metropolitan United Church, 468 Wellington Street at Dufferin Ave., by Rev. Dr. Jeff Crittenden and Rev. Herb Summers.
