HST and Disbursements additional
HST is the Federal and Provincial Sales Tax, totaling 13%, applicable to funeral home charges.
Disbursements are fees that the funeral home may pay on your behalf and are charged at cost. Disbursements may include such items as newspaper notices, clergy honorarium and some cemetery fees.
